My 34 years on the bench have been gratifying, stultifying, electrifying. But mostly, they tended to take away from my true passion: fashion. Free expression is as much about speech as dress, after all.
I got the idea for this blog from my friend David, who kicked the can on the court less than year ago. We all have our things -- his is food, mine clothes. Some days it takes me more than 45 minutes to pick the appropriate tartan bow tie.
This morning was no exception. I started with an emerald and royal purple bow tie (BT), only to switch it out for royal blue. But just as I was about to leave the house, I went back to the original plan. I feel better when I stick to my sartorial guns.
Nevertheless, I think upon this grand internet occasion of my newborn website, it could
be time for a celebratory trip to Brooks Bros. I have a craving for something pastel.
